I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ when I was 12 years old. At age 15, I felt God’s call to vocational ministry, eventually being led specifically to student ministry. I married my high school sweetheart, Sarah, on May 29, 2004. On June 17, 2010, God blessed Sarah and I with our first child, a baby girl, Madilyn Faye. I was called to be the student pastor at First Baptist O’Fallon (IL) in October 2010. Prior to God’s call to FBCO, I served through student ministry at my home church in Benton IL, and First Baptist Church of Blytheville, AR. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies from Mid-Continent University in Mayfield Kentucky, a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry degree (expository preaching) from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. I’m a die-hard University of Illinois, St. Louis Cardinals, and St. Louis Rams fan. I love hanging out with students, working out, playing video games, watching movies, and going out to eat.
